As I was strolling on the shoreline, I noticed there was a steep section of sand with an almost vertical edge. I put my camera in my water housing and kneeled right on the edge. As a set wave approached at high speed, it created this frothy phenomenon. It all happened in less than a second, fortunately we have equipment with high shutter speeds to freeze that moment in time.
